Slamfest Softball Fundraiser at Morse Park on June 18th

Universal Cares is hosting a slow-pitch softball tournament at Morse Park & Beach on June 18th, 8 a.m. – 2 p.m. The proceeds of the tournament will benefit Universal Cares, Friends of Hamilton County Parks, and the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office Community Foundation.

The tournament will consist of eight (8) co-ed adult teams with an entry fee of $1,000 per team. In addition to the entry fees, there will be additional sponsors and fundraising opportunities (purchase of food, beverages, etc.) to increase the benefit for each of the charitable organizations. With the number of tournament participants and fellow parkgoers that day, we hope to showcase the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office Community Foundation to members of the community.

The Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office Community Foundation is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization creating opportunities for the community and law enforcement to support each other. Your donations help provide for those less fortunate in our community, support our hard-working employees, and build strong relationships in our community. The goals are:

  1. Provide financial aid and help for those in need in our community, particularly children.
  2. Support our hard-working employees at the Sheriff’s Office.
  3. Build stronger relationships between our deputies, corrections officers, and staff with all members of the community.

Come out and enjoy a fun event, supporting several great causes. Visit https://www.hcsocommunityfoundation.com/ for more information.
