Laura Renee Collins

Laura Renee Collins, 41, of Noblesville, ascended into the arms of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Sunday, Dec. 18, 2022 at her home.

She was born on Aug. 26, 1981 to Kelly and Sherrie (Sloderbeck) Collins in Tipton.

Ms. Collins was a graduate of Noblesville High School. She worked for many years as a CNA and medical assistant where she graduated with honors at MedTech. She was a member of White River Christian Church where she enjoyed singing and fellowship, and looked forward to working with the youth. Ms. Collins loved crafting, gardening and canning. She was a great party hostess and was a very giving lady with a heart of gold. She also loved animals.

Survivors include her parents Kelly and Sherrie Collins; sister Kelly (Terry) DeFoe; nephew Justin (Aly) DeFoe; niece Audrey (Cole) Ankney; great-niece Luna Rose Ankney; grandmother, “Mammaw” Sherrie Sloderbeck; Logan and Natalie Griffith, who Ms. Collins was a wonderful mother figure to; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her grandfather, “Pappaw” William Sloderbeck; and grandparents Kelly and Betty Collins.

Visitation is scheduled to be held from 5-7 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 22, 2022 at White River Christian Church, 1685 N 10th St., Noblesville. Services are scheduled for 10 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 23, 2022 at the church, with Pastor Andrew Smiley officiating. Burial will be at Cicero Cemetery in Cicero.
