Westfield Washington Schools Names New Middle School Principal

Westfield Washington Schools is pleased to announce that Stacey Swan will assume the role of principal of Westfield Middle School. The position opened up when the former principal, Mike Hall, became the director of operations within the district.

Most recently, Swan served as principal at Fall Creek Junior High School in Hamilton Southeastern since June 2019. Before that, she was principal at Noblesville West Middle School. She has high school administrative experience at Noblesville High School and she taught in Kokomo High School and Blue River Junior High/High School.

With 17 years of administrative experience, Swan says she is motivated to lead approximately 1400 students and nearly 160 staff members during this time of growth in the schools and community.

“Westfield Middle School’s reputation and expansion were appealing to me as a leader,” Swan said. “I am excited about creating a school structure where all learners find success and feel supported. I am deeply passionate about middle level education and feel privileged to be trusted to lead Westfield Middle School into the future.”

Dr. Paul A. Kaiser, superintendent of Westfield Washington Schools, says he is excited to work with her.

“This was a highly competitive job to fill,” Kaiser said, “and we’re happy it led us to a leader as strong as Stacey Swan. Her passion and leadership shined throughout the process and she brings exactly the type of experience that our district needs as we continue to be the top destination district in the state. I can’t wait to see the great work that she will do in our community.”

Swan received her education specialist degree, masters in educational leadership and supervision as well as her bachelor’s degree in secondary education from Ball State University.
