Intimate Apparel Shop Wins Global Award
Uplift Intimate Apparel, located in Carmel City Center won for Best Community Service for the Best of Intima 2025 USA. Uplift was one of 232 Nominees for the category and one of five Finalists. This Retail Award is sponsored by Intima Magazine, the global premiere Lingerie & Swimwear industry magazine. Judging of the finalists is done by a professional jury composed of both domestic and international prestigious lingerie brands.
The unique recognition of Best Community Support is given to the store who constantly supports their local communities through projects to raise money, donations, and organizes special events to aid the community.
Working in the intimate apparel industry for more than 20 years, Carla Mackie, Founder of Uplift Intimate Apparel has loved these past eight years being a business owner.
“Uplift is the melding of all I’ve learned in the industry. It is the vehicle that allows me to serve women in a meaningful way,” she said. “This recognition puts Uplift – and Carmel, Indiana on the world intimate apparel map.”
Uplift provides special events instore with professional bra fittings for the women of Prevail, Inc. and Dove Recovery House multiple times each year. Each woman receives an evening of pampering along with a professional bra fitting and a goody bag and several bras fitted for their bodies. These bras come from Uplift’s generous vendors and wonderful clients who donate their “gently loved” bras through Uplift’s Give a Lift program. Uplift also supports the Pink Ribbon Connection, O’Conner House, and Horizon House.
Uplift Intimate Apparel is located at 711 Veterans Way on the interior plaza of Carmel City Center.
