Homecoming Scheduled For Friday at NHS
There are so many events that make Noblesville a great place to live . . . and one of those events is on tap to kick off – literally – Friday.
Noblesville High School’s annual Homecoming football game and all the fun activities surrounding it happen Friday when the Millers take on Zionsville in a Hoosier Crossroads Conference game.
The Millers are currently 1-3. NHS started the season on a bright spot, defeating Mt. Vernon 21-6. But three straight tough losses have left the Millers hungry for a victory when the Zionsville Eagles – who are also 1-3 – come calling.
As is an annual tradition, Noblesville Schools are scheduled to let out an hour early after different Homecoming activities all day long.
The second biggest event of the day, the Homecoming Parade, is scheduled from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. The Parade takes off from the high school and travels through downtown Noblesville as fans by the thousands, clad in Black and Gold, line the streets. Be sure to watch for some of the most popular entries like the Marching Millers, the football team, cheerleaders and even the NHS Alumni Association.
All in all, it should be a great day and The Times hopes it culminates in a big victory on the field Friday night. Go Millers!
