Casey Norman Named Husky Hero

“Being nominated by parents for a reward is incredibly meaningful to me,” said Casey Norman of the honor that recognizes the time, care, and dedication she puts into supporting her students and their families. “Knowing that families value the love and patience I bring to the classroom touches my heart and reminds me why I love what I do. This recognition motivates me to continue giving my best each day and to keep making a positive impact in my students’ lives.”
Norman says she is motivated by the joy in watching her students grow—not only during the year she has them, but in the years that follow as they continue their learning journey at Hamilton Heights. “It’s truly rewarding to watch them develop academically, socially, and emotionally,” she points out. “For many of them, I have the privilege of being part of their very first school experience, helping them build confidence, curiosity, and a lasting love for learning.”
“Casey is loving, calm, and nurturing,” said Julie Griffey, Principal at Hamilton Heights Elementary School. “She’s a connector—with students, colleagues, and families—and an amazing kindergarten teacher.”
