Designer Kendall Wilkinson Coming to Carmel
The Indiana Design Center is pleased to announce the 2025 LUXE Layers Design Showcase event line-up and guest of honor, Kendall Wilkinson. The two-day event series is designed to inspire and be the resource for home design, remodeling and custom building projects. Wednesday, Nov. 12, 10:30 a.m. – noon: “From Concept to Completion: Earning Client Confidence in Every Phase,” Trade Discussion & Book Signing
On Wednesday the IDC, in partnership with Drapery Street and Fabricut, will kick off the two-day event series with a trade only event in the Drapery Street showroom. “From Concept to Completion: Earning Client Confidence in Every Phase” will feature renowned designer Kendall Wilkinson speaking to design industry professionals about business challenges and best practices, followed by a book signing. Books will be available for purchase or you may bring your own copy of Kendall’s book, Beauty All Around. Tabletop displays decorated by leading interior designers will be set up in Design Center showrooms, providing opportunities for learning, connecting and seeing the latest in the design and building industry. A light breakfast with coffee and mimosas will be provided.

Thursday, Nov. 13, 4 – 7 p.m.: “Your Style, Expertly Layered: The Magic of Bespoke Design with a Designer’s Eye,” Conversation & Book Signing
“Your Style, Expertly Layered: The Magic of Bespoke Design with a Designer’s Eye” invites the public to the IDC for a ticketed cocktail party to peruse designer tabletop displays and hear from special guest speaker, designer Kendall Wilkinson.
Intent on creating luxury interior spaces that reflect the lives of the people who live there, Kendall Wilkinson formed a design firm around one central theme: Individualism. With an emphasis on quality materials, customization and comfort, each intriguing space is created with intention and thoughtfulness around the clients that call these rooms home. Kendall’s book, Beauty All Around, was published in May 2025. The book explores her collaborative approach, transforming dreams into beautiful homes. Inspired by generations of strong women, Wilkinson’s family history helped to form the aesthetic principles she holds today.
A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Habitat for Humanity Women Build program, which as the event celebrates women and design, is a natural fit. Says Abri Hochstetler, vice president of development and communications at Greater Indy Habitat for Humanity, “We are honored that Habitat and Women Build will benefit from this great event at the Indiana Design Center.”

All events will be held at the Indiana Design Center located at 200 South Rangeline Road in Carmel, Indiana. Free parking is available in the surface lots and underground parking garage.
