Fishers Councilor Tiffanie Ditlevson Files for State Senate

Tiffanie Ditlevson officially filed her candidacy last week for the Indiana State Senate, launching her campaign to represent Senate District 31 in the 2026 Republican primary.

“Senate District 31 deserves proven leadership and a nuanced perspective – someone who understands the challenges that come with growth and knows how to deliver results,” Ditlevson said. “My first priority is championing the needs of the residents of this district—keeping more money in Hoosiers’ pockets, making smart infrastructure investments, strengthening public safety, ensuring a strong return on our education dollars, and protecting the quality of life families here deserve.”

Ditlevson currently serves as an at-large member of the Fishers City Council, where she has earned a reputation as a thoughtful, results-driven conservative focused on fiscal discipline, public safety, and responsible growth in one of Indiana’s fastest-growing communities.

A former U.S. Air Force Major and combat veteran, Ditlevson brings both public service and private-sector experience to her candidacy. She has led large, diverse teams, managed complex budgets, and worked collaboratively to solve real-world problems – experience she says directly translates to effective state-level governance.

“Voters in District 31 value leadership that is disciplined, pragmatic, and focused on getting the job done,” Ditlevson said. “I respect the responsibility of this office and the importance of working constructively to deliver results for our district. I’m running because I believe my experience, tone, and district-first approach position me to unite the district and win both the primary and general election.”

The campaign will formally kick off with a fundraising event on Wednesday, Feb. 5, bringing together supporters from across Senate District 31 to mark the start of the race.

“I’m grateful for the encouragement and support I’ve received as I take this step,” Ditlevson said. “This campaign will be about listening, earning trust, and making sure our district continues to thrive.”

The Republican Primary will take place Tuesday, May 5.
