Inaugural Champions Together Event at Heights Middle

Hamilton Heights Middle School was proud to serve as the host site for the first‑ever Champions Together Unified Sports Cornhole State Tournament this past Saturday. The inaugural event brought together 16 schools of unified athletes from across Indiana for a day of competition, teamwork and celebration.

Unified Sports, a partnership between the IHSAA and Special Olympics Indiana, is built on the belief that students of all abilities deserve opportunities to compete, connect, and shine. Hosting this statewide tournament reflects Hamilton Heights’ ongoing commitment to inclusion and to creating meaningful experiences where every athlete feels valued and supported.

“Unified sports changes lives, mine included,” Whitney Gray, HHHS Principal and Unified Sports Coach, said. “It’s an honor to help launch this new chapter of Unified Sports in Indiana.”
