NHS Junior Wins Congressional Art Competition

Emery Henderson, a junior at Noblesville High School, beat out a record number of participants representing every county in the Fifth District and won the 2026 Congressional Art Competition.
Congresswoman Victoria Spartz (IN-05) announced Henderson as the winner at the annual program of the U.S. House of Representatives highlighting student artists nationwide.
Henderson was selected by a panel of expert judges from the community and will receive a complimentary trip to Washington, D.C. to join winners from around the country, and her piece In the Garden will be displayed for one year in the Cannon Tunnel at the U.S. Capitol.
