Sheriff Quakenbush Endorses Chief Deputy

Dear Hamilton County Residents,

It is my honor to endorse John Lowes as the next Sheriff of Hamilton County as my second and final term ends in 2026. Having served our community with integrity for 27 years, John has proven himself to be a steadfast and capable leader. As Chief Deputy of Hamilton County, he has expertly guided 250 officers who work tirelessly to “Keep Hamilton County Safe.” His proactive strategies, leadership skills, and commitment to transparency, accountability, and collaboration make him the ideal candidate to continue this mission.

I highly value John’s wisdom and dedication to biblical principles, which have been invaluable in directing the values of the Sheriff’s Office and fostering trust within our community. These principles reflect the kind of steady and ethical leadership needed to ensure Hamilton County remains one of the safest communities in the nation.

As a member of our community, I know you understand the value of preserving the safety and quality of life that make Hamilton County a remarkable place to live, work, and thrive. Together, we share the responsibility to protect that legacy. Yet, we cannot ignore the ongoing challenges of crime and violence, which, if unchecked, could disrupt the peace we’ve worked so hard to achieve. Without strong, experienced law enforcement, our community’s safety would be vulnerable. That is why leadership rooted in integrity and accountability is essential.

“Lowes Knows Safety!”  I ask that you join me in supporting John Lowes in the upcoming primary election on May 5th. Together, we can ensure Hamilton County remains one of the safest communities in the nation.

Sincerely,

Sheriff Dennis Quakenbush
