Conservation Officers Still Want Your Help

The track chairs stolen from Fort Harrison State Park have been returned. Indiana Conservation Officers would like to thank the public for their tips and assistance.

“Track chairs open up incredible opportunities for people with mobility limitations to experience the outdoors,” said Capt. Jet Quillen. “On behalf of the Indiana Department of Natural Resources and everyone who will benefit from these mobility devices, we are grateful to all who shared information and helped ensure the stolen track chairs were safely returned.”

Two stolen Vietnam War-era helmets are still missing.

The break-ins occurred between 9 p.m. on April 30 and 6 a.m. on May 1. Six Department of Natural Resources buildings were forcibly entered and vandalized.

Tips can be directed to the Indiana Conservation Officers (ICO) Dispatch Center at 812-837-9536 or emailed to ICODispatch@dnr.IN.gov.
