Janine Helen Schumm

Janine Helen Schumm, 75, of Indianapolis, passed away on Thursday, Nov. 10, 2022 at Community Hospital North in Indianapolis.

She was born on June 22, 1947 to the late Joszef and Anna Sliwa in Trier, Germany.

Ms. Schumm worked as an administrative assistant for multiple companies through the years. She enjoyed working part-time at the Fishers YMCA.

She was a member of St. Louis de Montfort Catholic Church where she was an active volunteer. She had a strong love for animals.

Survivors include her 2 daughters Lori (Nathan) Hacker and Lisa (Tom) McCracken; 4 grandchildren Austin Hacker, Kasey Hacker, Courtney McCracken and Evan McCracken; and her beloved cat Buddy.

Visitation is scheduled to be held from 12 p.m., noon to 2 p.m., with services scheduled to begin at 2 p.m., on Friday, Nov. 18, 2022 at Randall & Roberts Fishers Mortuary, 12010 Allisonville Road, Fishers. The Rev. Sean M. Aaron will officiate.
