Smile
What makes Ethan Feliciano smile? “Doing group activities and seeing everyone have a good time together and working together as a team to do something great,” said the 16-year-old Noblesville resident. The Hamilton County 4-H’er of eight years is a Junior Leader of four years and was found volunteering at the Junior Leader Shack with his sister, Ella Feliciano. He is the son of Jack and Sara Feliciano. Favorite food at the Fair? “The corn dogs at the church tent.” Favorite event at the Fair? “I like ‘Walk the Llama.’ I enjoy doing that a lot.” Favorite 4-H project? “Dogs. One year, I got Grand Champion for Agility. That was really fun.” He said, “Being here (at the Fair) every single day is fun.” A Noblesville High School junior, he started back to classes on Monday, the first day of school. What he’s looking forward to most in school this fall? “Tennis season is coming up. I’m excited for that.” He is also looking forward to running track in the spring. He recently ran in the 10th annual Summer Night Trail Run in Eagle Creek, a 6-½-mile trek in the forest. “That was a lot of fun. I got second for the 6-½-mile,” he said. Ethan plays violin in the school orchestra. “I’m excited for the (school) musical (‘Cinderella’). That’s going to be fun. I’m going to play the violin for it. I was in the pit last year for (the NHS fall musical) ‘Chicago,’ and it was so much fun.” What else? Playing his violin, Ethan won Reserve Grand Champion Senior Division in the 2023 Hamilton County Youth Talent Contest on July 24 at the 4-H Fair in Noblesville. Just moments earlier, Ethan won Champion in the Senior Division for Instrumental Solo for his “Czardas By Monti” on the violin and qualifies to compete, playing his violin, at the Indiana State Fair Youth Talent Contest in the Instrumental Solo category at noon on Aug. 20, the final day of the State Fair, at the Purdue Extension Auditorium on the north side of the Fairgrounds.
