Sen. Scott Baldwin Praises NSEF
State Sen. Scott Baldwin (R-Noblesville) had a lot of positives to share after some good news from the Noblesville Schools Education Foundation.
“This week, the Noblesville Schools Education Foundation (NSEF) announced a $50,000 increase in funding for their Mental Health Support Fund,” Baldwin said. “This is an investment in students’ wellbeing. With this new investment, the students and faculty of Noblesville will have access to more counselors and the opportunity to participate in individual reimbursement plans for mental health treatments that exist outside the school system. “I am pleased with Noblesville and their willingness to go above and beyond for their students. Not only will lives of Hoosier youth change because of this increase in funding, but it will also create a safer school community.
“Mental well-being is one of the most important topics for young students, and I am proud of Noblesville for making continuous efforts to show to their students that mental health matters,” he added. “I encourage students who are struggling with mental health to use this resource to their full advantage. Thank you so much NSEF for making our schools a safe space where students can get access to the important care they need.”
Baldwin represents Senate District 20, which includes Noblesville, Carmel, Cicero and unincorporated areas of Hamilton County.
