Iva Marie Platt

Nov. 19, 1930 – Jan. 22, 2022

Iva Marie Platt, 91, of Noblesville, passed away peacefully Jan. 22, 2022.

She was born Nov. 19, 1930 in Carterville, Ill., daughter of William and Clara (Walker) Sanders.  

Before retiring, Mrs. Platt worked several years at Carmel Care Center, currently known as Carmel Health and Living. She was a member of the Church of God, Noblesville.

Mrs. Platt loved the Lord and enjoyed listening to Gaither Gospel Music.  She was an avid reader and spent time working word puzzles. Her greatest joy was spending time with family and friends.

Survivors include her children, Kevin (Linda) Platt, Tara Platt, Barry (Karen) Platt and Marcia (Mike) Klepfer; brothers, Gene (Joy) Sanders and Thurman (Bonnie) Sanders; 12 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Iva was preceded in death by her husband, Chester “Chet” Platt; daughter, Rhonda Tucker; sisters, Helen McGee and Lillian Frick; and brothers, Bill Sanders and Kenneth Sanders.

Family and friends will gather at 10 a.m. Thu., Jan. 27, 2022 at CrossRoads Church in Westfield, 19201 Grassy Branch Road, Westfield, where the Funeral Service will begin at 1 p.m.

Burial will follow in Carmel Cemetery. Bussell Family Funerals is privileged to assist the family in arrangements.
