David Ashley Hudson

David Ashley Hudson, 73, of Indianapolis, passed away on Tue., Jan. 18, 2022 at Symphony Dyer in Dyer, Ind.

He was born on March 3, 1948 to James William and Ruth Southerland (Legg) Hudson in Kanawha County, W. Va.

Mr. Hudson retired as CEO of Gullco Cleveland and was a 45-year member of the American Welding Society. He was an avid bass fisherman. He enjoyed building race cars and was involved in pit crews with the drag racing circuit.

Survivors incude his daughter, Stephanie (Hudson) Burnell; 3 grandchildren, Reed, Sam and Elizabeth “Libby” Burnell; and his girlfriend, Mary Lou Beatly.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Hudson was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Lou (Hill) Hudson; daughter, Wendy Louise Hudson; son, Christopher Hudson; and his granddaughter, Emma Burnell.

Visitation will be from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. on Tue., Feb. 1, 2022 at Randall & Roberts Funeral Center, 1685 Westfield Road, in Noblesville. Burial will be at Carmel Cemetery in Carmel.
