Danica Eyler Announces Candidacy for Hamilton Superior Court 8

Danica Eyler, an attorney with more than 20 years of diverse life and legal experience, has announced her candidacy for Judge of Hamilton Superior Court 8, a newly created court designed to expand access to the judiciary in one of Indiana’s fastest-growing counties. The additional court, established during the most recent session of the Indiana General Assembly, aims to increase judicial capacity and improve access to the court system. Eyler brings a wide-ranging legal background and a strong record of local involvement to her campaign.

In her free time Eyler has sought opportunities to give back to her community,  in her early years she worked with  the Junior League of Indianapolis, for five years she served as the Vice President of the Board of Westfield Aquatics, and has been a  member of the Board of Wellbeing Coalition of Westfield.  She is a current Troop Committee Member of Scout Troops 107 and 1070 located in Westfield. For the past two years she has volunteered as an attorney coach for Westfield High School’s Mock Trial program. Her family attends Traders Point Christian Church in Carmel

“For over two decades, I have practiced in nearly every area of law, and for the past seven years I have focused my practice right here in Hamilton County,” said Eyler. “I regularly appear in our local courts, as both private counsel and in a public defender role, and have developed a strong understanding of the legal needs of this community.”

Eyler has spent most of her life in central Indiana, graduating from Lawrence Central High School and earning degrees from IU’s Kelly School of Business and Mckinney School of Law, she and her husband chose to make Westfield their home and their son will attend Purdue University this fall. “This is more than just where I work—it’s my home. It’s where I’ve chosen to raise my family, build relationships, and give back,” she said. In launching her campaign, Eyler emphasized her commitment to judicial fairness, preparedness, and accountability. “I believe that everyone who comes before the court—litigants, attorneys, and citizens alike—deserves a judge who listens carefully, understands the law, and using their experience considers the real-world consequences of each decision.

Eyler will appear on the ballot in the Republican Primary Election on May 5, 2026. To Learn more please visit her website at: https://danicaeylerforjudge.com/
