Spark!Fishers Back and Sizzling
| The Spark!Fishers festival presented by Meijer is back for another year at the Fishers’ Nickel Plate Cultural District. It opened earlier this week and wraps up Saturday. Attendees will find multiple ways to celebrate Independence Day traditions while showcasing what it means to be uniquely Fishers. This year’s Spark!Fishers celebration kicked off with a free Tuesday night concert featuring Sixteen Candles, followed by the return of the popular drone show to close out the evening. The 5K Walk/Run was Wednesday, with the fan-favorite Car & Art Show Thursday. Tonight’s free concert features Saved by the 90s and will conclude with a fireworks display at the Nickel Plate District Amphitheater. Back by popular demand, guests can also enjoy a ride on the Ferris wheel along Municipal Drive this evening and Saturday and wrap up the week with the street fair and parade. The Fishers Event Center will serve as the Spark!Fishers Parade Grand Marshal. Since opening in November 2024, the 7,500-seat venue has hosted major community events like the Fishers Mudsock basketball games and high school graduations, as well as national touring acts and sporting events. For Saturday’s festivities, Spark!Fishers attendees are encouraged to park at the FORUM Conference Center (11313 USA Parkway) and take the free shuttle running from 12:30 to 11 p.m. Learn more about the festival at SparkFishers.com. A wristband is required for access to all inflatables, the skate park, carousel, and Ferris wheel. Wristbands will be available for purchase on-site for $5 (credit card only; cash will not be accepted). A signed waiver is required for each individual receiving a wristband. Wristbands will not be available in advance. Distribution and sales will take place on Saturday only. ### |
