Art on Display in Fishers All Month

Fishers Arts Council is holding its annual partner exhibit in the Art Gallery at City Hall in July, along with a free all-ages public Second Friday reception to meet the artists of the Hamilton County Artists’ Association (HCAA). The exhibit opened on June 30 and runs through August 2 with the Second Friday reception on July 11 from 6-8pm. The gallery is located inside the Fishers Art & Municipal Center at One Municipal Drive, Fishers.

The public is welcome to visit both gallery spaces on July 11 to enjoy all of the work on display. Additionally, artist members will be present on Saturdays throughout July from 10am-12pm in the gallery to share information on HCAA membership, classes, summer camps, plus some artists will offer live demonstrations.

There are over 60 works on display in HCAA’s “All Our Best” exhibit in the Art Gallery at City Hall gallery, and, as always, a majority of the art is for sale.  The gallery is free and open 8:30am to 4:30pm Monday through Friday, excluding holidays. During the Second Friday reception on July 11, there will be live music by Andy Schomburg, along with snacks, drinks, and a cash bar featuring Four Day Ray craft beers and Peace Water Winery wines.

Additionally, FAC board member Pat Grabill will lead our Focus on the Artist programming at 6:45pm inside the Theater, introducing us to some of juried artist members of HCAA: Heather Ray Boelke, Stephen Edwards, Linda Jordan, and Dawn Michaelis.

The Hamilton County Artists’ Association operates as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit run by volunteers and stands as the original and only juried fine arts organization in Hamilton County, Indiana. The membership consists of over 50 Hamilton County artists, who have been juried into the HCAA, as well as Supporting Members from across Indiana.
