August Plenty Busy for Noblesville Creates
August, Noblesville Creates will showcase artists Amanda Russo, Debbie Herrmann, JanettMarie Marra, and John Dierdorf, along with the Changing Landscapes exhibit at the Judge Stone House. Additionally, Noblesville Creates will present the exhibit Noticing Noblesville at Noblesville City Hall. Details on exhibit locations, dates, receptions, and featured artists can be found below.
JUDGE STONE HOUSE: Changing Landscapes
The hustle and bustle of urban life can be very different from the quiet of the countryside. Sometimes they even merge into suburban areas, creating unique spaces that combine the natural world and man-made spaces.
Changing Landscapes features works of all mediums that explore, celebrate, or comment on urban, rural, and in-between spaces.
You can view the full exhibit, Changing Landscapes, now through Aug. 30, in the Judge Stone House gallery. The Noblesville Creates on 8th campus is open Wednesday through Friday, noon to 5 p.m. and Saturdays 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
STEPHENSON HOUSE: Amanda Russo
In the quiet space of a small home studio, Amanda Russo finds inspiration in moments most of us might overlook. A glance, a gesture, or even a handful of wilted dandelions. Her upcoming exhibit, Fleeting Moments, invites viewers to pause and appreciate the depth hidden in the everyday.
This exhibit is also a family affair in the most heartfelt sense: it includes two works created by her children. “They are the fleeting moment,” Russo says, reflecting on how quickly time moves and how art helps her hold on just a little longer.
See the full exhibit, Fleeting Moments, in the Stephenson House Gallery at the Noblesville Creates campus now through Aug. 30. The full campus is open for exploration Wednesday-Friday, noon to 5 p.m., and Saturdays 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
NOBLESVILLE CITY HALL: Noticing Noblesville
Noticing Noblesville showcases the past, present, and future of Noblesville, Indiana. Artists of all mediums will feature works that recall fond memories, capture everyday moments, and explore what the future of our Hoosier city might look like.
