Summer Elevation Series Concludes in Fishers
| The Fishers Event Center has highlighted local artists in a variety of ways during its first year, most recently spotlighting eight standout local bands and artists during its Summer Elevation Series recorded live on the Fishers Event Center roof. This series highlights artists with local ties and big sound, released via the Fishers Event Center’s official YouTube with the final performance in the series just released this week. Additionally, the venue has commissioned a group of local artists to create unique pieces of art showcased throughout the venue, inspired by various aspects and characteristics of the venue itself. SUMMER ELEVATION SERIES FEATURED PERFORMANCES: Alex Williams An Indiana native whose gritty vocals and outlaw country soul set the tone for what this series is all about: local roots, elevated sound.  Kara Cole A powerful voice from Indiana with music that’s personal, emotional, and beautifully real. Her vocals are haunting, her lyrics honest, and her performance unforgettable.  Taylor Bickett Born and raised in Indiana, Taylor is an indie pop artist known for her stunning vocals and clever, emotionally honest lyrics. Her sound is fresh and her storytelling is sharp.  Jerry Barker: Jerry brings a blend of humor, surrealism, and a rootsy sound drawing from bluegrass, country, and old-time folk to the rooftop at FEC.  Indy Annies The Indy Annies blend classic storytelling with electric energy. Hear the harmonies, feel the heart, and catch that honky-tonk heat.  The Wallow Hollows Indiana-born folk rockers who brought heart and an incredible performance to the roof.  The Brothers Footman A dynamic family band whose genre-blending sound weaves together rock, hip hop, and country with undeniable energy and style.  Wishy (Just released today!) Ethereal indie pop rock straight from Indiana… music that feels like a dream you don’t want to wake from. WHAT ELSE IS COMING UP AT FISHERS EVENT CENTER?
