Nominate Woman for Indiana Chamber Empower Award

Elevating Hoosier women professionals and entrepreneurs will take center stage at the upcoming 2025 Indiana Women’s Collaborative. The Indiana Chamber of Commerce gathering focuses on both fostering meaningful connections and offering education tracks to help females flourish in the workplace.

The program takes place Aug. 28at The Westin Indianapolis.

“We’re excited to present a robust agenda that should appeal to women at all stages of their careers,” remarks Indiana Chamber President and CEO Vanessa Green Sinders. “It’s a unique opportunity for attendees and their employers to champion women in business while promoting meaningful connections, collaboration and best practices. All with the goal of maximizing the far-reaching impact women have on the workforce.”

Attendees can choose from sessions focused on execution mastery, power networking, professional visibility, empowered leadership, skills labs and strategic growth. Specific topics include confidence and credibility in leadership, making connections that matter, building influence through relationships, executive thinking for non-executives, setting boundaries that build trust and owning your voice as a thought leader.

During the event’s luncheon, the 2025 Indiana Women’s Collaborative Empower Award will be given to a female professional who has made significant contributions to empowering women and, in the process, had a meaningful impact on her organization and larger community. The recipient will be chosen for her advocacy, leadership and impact in advancing women in business. Nominations can be submitted through Aug. 4 at www.indianachamber.com/empower-award.

Among the agenda highlights is the Empower Award Lunch panel featuring former Lieutenant Governors Suzanne Crouch, Sue Ellspermann and Becky Skillman entitled “Women Leading Indiana: Lessons From the Statehouse.” In addition, award-winning writer and speaker Alexandra Hudson will deliver the closing keynote presentation. Based in Indianapolis, she’s the author of The Soul of Civility: Timeless Principles to Heal Society and Ourselves and a nationally recognized expert on civility, civil society and American civic renewal.
