Class of ’72 turns 72

Noblesville High School’s Class of 1972 held a birthday party earlier this month in the Anderson Shelter at Forest Park, which they reported was built from a donation that was made to the Noblesville Parks Foundation by classmate Sara Anderson’s family. The birthday party recognized all class of ‘72 classmates who were turning 72, this year and next. There were approximately 70 reservations from the class of 72, including guests. It was the first gathering since the group’s 50-year class reunion. The idea to hold a birthday party came about when Terri Sigman Kennedy contacted Peggy Baldwin Beaver about having a class party. Terri had purchased the use of the shelter at a fundraiser, and it had to be used by the end of 2025.  Peggy suggested having a “class of 72 turning 72” birthday party and the planning began. Terri said they plan to make this an annual event.
