Hamilton Heights Indoor Percussion capped off its season with an outstanding showing at the Indiana Percussion Association (IPA) State Finals, placing 11th among the state’s top ensembles this past weekend.

Most importantly, the group rose to the moment and delivered its strongest performance of the entire season. Their focus, growth, and commitment were on full display when it mattered most — a testament to the hard work they’ve invested since day one.

This season was a true team effort. Every student in the ensemble played a meaningful role in pushing the group forward, supporting one another, and striving for excellence each and every day.

“A heartfelt thank‑you goes to our incredible percussion staff for their dedication, expertise, and countless hours poured into these students,” said HHHS Band Director Mark Snelson. “Your impact extends far beyond the performance floor. We also extend deep appreciation to our amazing parents. Your support, time, and energy each weekend went above and beyond. This program would not be what it is without you.”

“Finally,” he continued, “we celebrate our outstanding senior class for their leadership, commitment, and the legacy they leave behind. They have set the standard for what it means to be part of this program. What a way to finish. We are so proud of this group.”
