ISO’s Gala: OPUS 2026 Sept. 19 at Hilbert Circle Theatre 

The Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra announces tickets are now on sale for Gala: OPUS 2026, endowed by Christel DeHaan, taking place Saturday, Sept. 19, at Hilbert Circle Theatre. The evening begins at 6:30 p.m., with the performance starting at 7:30 p.m. 

Led by Music Director Jun Märkl, Gala: OPUS 2026 will feature Beethoven’s Piano Concerto No. 5, the “Emperor,” performed by internationally acclaimed pianist Denis Kozhukhin, alongside selections from Tchaikovsky’s beloved Swan Lake

The annual gala transforms Hilbert Circle Theatre into an immersive celebration featuring surprise live pop-up performances from ISO musicians, themed lounge spaces, curated tastings, specialty mocktails and cocktails, complimentary desserts and champagne, and interactive experiences throughout the theatre. 

The evening schedule includes: 
6:30 p.m. | Doors open for complimentary champagne, open bar, and mingling 
7:30 p.m. | ISO performance begins 
8:45 p.m. | Dessert and after-concert celebrations throughout Hilbert Circle Theatre 

Proceeds from Gala: OPUS 2026 support the ISO’s artistic and community impact, including: 
• Visionary performances across ClassicalPops, and special series 
• Recruiting and retaining full-time professional musicians 
• Hosting world-renowned guest artists 
• Innovative educational programs 
• Preservation of Hilbert Circle Theatre
