Aurelia Brinzea, 96, of Carmel, passed away March 13, 2022.

She was born Dec. 26, 1925 in Canton, Oh., to John and Anica (Popa) Bikis.

After graduating from Timker High School in Canton, she attended Raedel College in South Bend, Ind.

Before retiring, Mrs. Brinzea worked for the Timker Steele Company. She loved spending time with her kids and grandkids.

Survivors include her daughter, Brenda (Wayne) Burnett of Carmel, Ind.; son George (Anne) Brinzea of Columbus, Ind.; and grandchildren Megan Chapelle, Maria Chapelle, George Brinzea and Allyson Brinzea.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, George Brinzea.
