After an extensive search, Matt Moore, boys varsity basketball coach at Fishers High School the past three seasons, will be recommended to the Warsaw Community Schools board of education as the next head Tigers boys basketball, according to a story on the Warsaw school website.
Moore led the Fishers Tigers to a 47-27 record, including school records of 17 and 18 victories the past two seasons. Overall, Moore owns a six-year record of 89-58, which includes three years at Kokomo High School.
Moore becomes the 17th head coach at Warsaw. He replaces Doug Ogle, who retired at the end of the 2020 season after 18 years.
Fishers co-Athletic Director Jim Brown said on Saturday that Fishers HS will post the position next week.
